Initiate or Retreat?
Is it something that you fear? or is it just something that you haven't realize yet?
Words can be brutal, yes. But the question is, are you ready to stand up to lead those millions of people behind you? Absolutely!
In a world full of unnecessary hate, there's no knowing when one will stand up. We should start finding our own strengths. Maybe your unique perspective in life and your cultural background are you greatest strengths but you never make use of them. Of course, the landscape isn't all doom and gloom. Thanks to the many possibilities opened up by the Internet and other forms of social media and technology, there are now more opportunities for people from the LGBTQ to represent what they believe in. A lot of people have found a place to express their ideas and perspectives on such platforms like Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, and Twitter.
